On arrival in Denham, at the pub of course....
We stopped at Shell beach on the way to Monkey Mia from Denham, the whole beach was made out of shells, very strange!
A wedgetailed eagle, who finally decided to take off so we could take a photo after Kjersti waved the Norwegian flag whilst hanging out of Bruces door
Wonderful sunset in Denham, taken from the terrace of hotel where we had a very nice dinner and lots of wine...
When in Monkey Mia you have to say hi to the resident dolphins....
The little cabin Kjersti, Steinar and Persa rented at Monkey Mia.
We went out on a big catamaran for some dugong spotting!
The boys relaxing on the catamaran
A photo of a dugong, cute and strange animals!
Steinar is very happy with his Irish!!
Kjersti and Steinar on the balcony in Monkey Mia, are happy, will travel....
....while Chris started up and was driving away!
Hege was, for once, more than a little reduced the next day....
Still have no idea where the name comes from, sorry! Monkey Mia is a resort which also is a marine reserve, so loads of dolphins come in and get fed every day. Extremely cute!
Right on the beach, we sat there and admired the dolphins playing!!!
The beautiful shoreline at Monkey Mia, as we were heading out to spot dugongs. ("Sea cows' in Norwegian, they are a relative of the manatee, and there are only 10000 left in the world!)
Had a (another) very nice meal in the restaurant at the resort at Monkey Mia
